Our holidays are based in the beautiful ancient fortified village of Trausse Minervois which is approximately 25kms from the World Heritage City of Carcassonne.

In the heart of the Languedoc region, a well known wine producing area and Trausse is surrounded by vineyards.

Trausse is set at the foot of the Montagne Noire and enjoys a fabulous landscape of hills, forest tracks, wild flowers and, when the weather is clear, views of the distant Pyrenees.

The natural charm and beauty of the village and its surroundings combined with its easy proximity to mountains, sites of Cathar castles, the Canal du Midi and of course Carcassonne make it an ideal base for walking, exploring and a source of creative inspiration.
