The Walking and Painting Holidays are exclusive of travel to France. However Trausse is conveniently located with many low cost airlines providing the most economical and efficient route to the Languedoc.  We are lucky to have three airports Carcassonne, Beziers and Toulouse all within a reasonable radius of the village.

We would be delighted to pick you up from the airport of our nearest major city, Carcassonne for the 35 minute transfer to Trausse Minervois, or from Beziers airport.

Please let us know about your travel arrangements in good time so that we can be there to greet you.

During your stay we will have the use of local cars or minibus to take you to either painting locations or the starting point for some of our walks.


TRAVELLING BY AIR

Ryanair fly direct to Carcassonne from; London Stansted, Leeds, Liverpool, East Midlands, Bournemouth, Cork, Dublin and Glasgow.  We can collect guests from Carcassaonne airport.

Ryanair also fly to Beziers from Bristol and Luton. We can collect guests from Beziers airport.

Easyjet fly to Toulouse from Bristol and Gatwick. The Toulouse airport shuttle bus will take you directly to the railway station from where a regular train service to Carcassonne operates.
